Design PR and media relations: James Fox launches Studio Zenko
A new studio offering experienced, strategic brand and creative consultancy has launched in Manchester. Studio Zenko is founded by creative director James Fox who has led strategic branding projects and campaigns for global lifestyle businesses over the past 15 years, working with the likes of Adidas, Timberland, Freya Lingerie and Resorts World.
With a current portfolio of clients including luxury fashion brand Julien Macdonald and a range of start-up lifestyle brands, Studio Zenko offers flexible brand and creative consultancy to both global organisations and SMEs.
Tapping into a national network of specialist creatives and consultants, Studio Zenko establishes tailormade teams to bring brand concepts to life, whether through design, video, illustration, photography, social media or immersive experiences.
PR and media relations to communicate a new design agency model
Fox said: “Having worked both in-house and for leading agencies, I’ve seen first-hand how the marketing landscape has evolved. Consumers are more discerning than they’ve ever been, challenging brands to be increasingly reactive across multiple channels, without compromising the coherence of their brand story. Using our experience of both developing brands and bringing them to life, we work with clients to give them the tools they need to confidently guide internal teams and partners through the execution of brand comms, helping them create long-lasting, emotional connections with the people that matter to them the most, whilst staying true to who they are.”
Previously based in Birmingham, Fox was inspired by the attitude that unites the global brands and ambitious start-ups in Manchester. Fox added: “As a studio we need two things to thrive – access to world-class talent and clients that share our belief in the power of brands. There’s no shortage of either in Manchester. This is a city where people really aren’t afraid to do things differently.”
