Best Low Budget Campaign: Marketing messages in lockdown and beyond

Low budget doesn't mean small results. We're delighted that we won this award for one of our own marketing and PR campaigns.

Marketing during a global pandemic is not without its challenges. However, the home improvement boom presented opportunities for the construction and home interiors industry. But with consumer behaviour and attitudes changing due to a wide range of factors, from lockdown rules to shopping local, how could businesses effectively engage with customers to take advantage of these opportunities, while positioning their marketing messages in the appropriate way?

To find out and support our clients and the wider industry, we carried out a market research campaign to help businesses refine their marketing and PR strategies. It resulted in wide-spread media coverage across national and trade media, new business opportunities, and direct support to businesses in the sector.

The judges said: "A well thought through positioning strategy against a difficult backdrop. Research-generated insightful statistics and facts, an appealing creative used in a variety of channels, excellent reach and coverage, all of which helped produce a good growth year in difficult times."
