Bounce Back with Marketing and PR

By Claire Gamble

The Coronavirus pandemic has impacted organisations across a wide range of sectors and many have been forced to rethink their day-to-day business operations.

At Unhooked Communications, we’ve been working with marketing departments and senior management teams to align their PR and marketing activity with their updated business plans. Whether we’re focusing on new audiences and markets, changing the way the business functions, or focusing on different products or services, it’s vital that a business’ marketing and PR strategy supports the wider business goals.

Bounce Back loans: Supporting businesses and their ‘new normal’

There have been a whole host of government incentives over the last few months to support businesses and the economy. One of the latest schemes – the Bounce Back Loan – gives companies the opportunity to access finance quickly to support them during the pandemic.

The scheme helps small and medium-sized businesses to borrow between £2,000 and up to 25% of their turnover, with a maximum loan available of £50,000. The government guarantees 100% of the loan and there won’t be any fees or interest to pay for the first 12 months. After 12 months the interest rate will be 2.5% a year.

Organisations may choose to use the Bounce Back Loan for a whole host of different purposes, including PR and marketing to help stabilise and grow the business.
